Each base fabric is selected for durability, structure, and ease of sewing. Choose the option that best suits your project needs:

Waterproof Canvas 600D

• Thickness: Approx. 0.4mm
• Stretch: None
• Cut Size: 36" × 58"
• Weight: Est. 165 grams
• Description: Durable, waterproof canvas designed for everyday use. Strong and resilient, perfect for bags, organizers, and functional projects. Requires no interfacing. Works beautifully as a lining or combined with sew-in stabilizer for added bag structure.

Waterproof Twill

• Thickness: Approx. 0.25mm
• Stretch: None
• Cut Size: 36" × 58"
• Weight: Est. 170 grams
• Description: Lightweight yet stable twill with a waterproof backing. A great choice for linings or exteriors when reduced bulk is desired. Resists creasing with minimal to no wrinkles. Requires no interfacing. Works beautifully as a lining or combined with sew-in stabilizer for added bag structure.

Smooth Vinyl

• Thickness: 0.9-1.0mm
• Stretch: Minimal to zero
• Cut Size: 18" × 54"
• Weight: Est. 650 grams
• Description: Smooth, structured vinyl with a polished finish. Ideal for bag exteriors and panels requiring clean lines and minimal stretch.

Bonded Repel (Polyester)

• Thickness: Approx. 0.4-0.6mm
• Stretch: None
• Cut Size: 36" × 58"
• Weight: Est. 215 grams
• Description: Water-repellent bonded polyester that maintains structure while remaining easy to sew. Smooth finish with minimal to no creasing. Requires no interfacing. Works beautifully as a lining or combined with sew-in stabilizer for added bag structure.
  

PolyCanvas Waterproof Canvas (Polyester)

• Thickness: Approx. 0.4mm
• Cut Size: 36" × 58"
• Stretch: None
• Weight: Est. 182 grams
• Description:
  A softer-hand, water-resistant canvas with a smooth, pliable feel while still offering excellent durability. Easy to sew and manipulate, making it an excellent choice for bag exteriors, linings, and projects where reduced stiffness is preferred. Requires no interfacing and works beautifully on its own or paired with a sew-in stabilizer for additional structure.
  Compared to our other fabric bases, PolyCanvas has slightly more fraying along the raw edges, while still remaining easy to work with.

A preorder allows you to purchase fabrics or prints before they are produced. This helps us plan production accurately and offer exclusive designs made specifically for this preorder cycle.

As a thank you for your patience,preorders are usually offered at discounted pricing compared to retail, where available.

📅 When do preorders open and close?

Every 4-6 weeks upon last preorder closes.
Dates may vary depending on holiday seasons.

⏳What is the preorder turnaround time?

Estimated turnaround: 8-12 weeks (excluding shipping transit time).

While our estimated turnaround is 8-12 weeks, most standard custom print preorders are fulfilled within approximately 6 weeks.

For preorders that include Cut & Sew Project Packs, production typically takes longer as we consolidate and prepare all print files before printing. Most Cut & Sew Project Pack preorders are fulfilled within approximately 8 weeks.

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on the size and complexity of each preorder.

📦 Can I combine preorder and in-stock items?

Yes, you may combine them in the same order. However, your order will only ship once all preorder items have arrived and are ready for dispatch.

If you would like your in-stock items shipped sooner, please place a separate order.

❌ Do not combine the following in the same order:

• Preorder items with retail items, unless you are able to wait 8–12 weeks after the preorder closes
• PO#7 items (current preorder; estimated arrival in October/November) with PO#6 items (previous preorder; expected to arrive in September)

PO#6 and PO#7 shipments cannot be combined. Please place separate orders for items from each preorder.

Estimated Transit Times

• USA: 6-10 business days
• Australia, United Kingdom, Canada & New Zealand: 1-3 business days
• Malaysia: 3-5 business days
• Singapore: 1-3 business days 

Remote areas may require an additional 3-5 business days.

Transit times are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, local courier operations, weather conditions, peak seasons, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Actual colours may vary slightly due to differences in screen settings and device displays. While we strive to represent our fabrics as accurately as possible, the colour shown on your screen may not exactly match the physical item.
• Cuts are not continuous.
• Due to the cutting process, fabric width may vary by ±1".
• Minor imperfections found within 2" of the selvage are not considered flaws.
• Some pieces may have markings on the reverse side. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the fabric’s usability or overall performance.

We strive for consistency in our products, but slight variations on the color may occur during the manufacturing process in different production batches. 

Our fabrics are hand-cut, so please note that they may not have perfectly straight edges. If you have a preference for precisely straight cuts, we recommend considering this before making a purchase.

Variation in sizes/measurements difference is minimal and should be within +/- 1" range.

Fabric will be shipped either folded or rolled, depending on the most economical method.

If the fabric arrives folded, we recommend rolling the fabric to help alleviate any creases or wrinkles that may have occurred during transit. For best results, you can lightly iron the fabric on the right side using a muslin cloth to protect the surface and smooth out any remaining creases. This gentle ironing process will help restore the fabric to its original appearance without causing any damage.

We regret to inform you that we do not accept returns or exchanges. We kindly request that you carefully read all listing descriptions before making a purchase to ensure that the product meets your requirements and expectations.

At Sewfisticated Supplies, we take great care in inspecting all products prior to shipping to ensure their quality. However, if there are any defects that have been overlooked, we encourage you to contact us at sales@sewfisticatedsupplies.com m with detailed information and photographs of the defects. Please note that such cases will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

To initiate a return or exchange request, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order. Kindly note that shipping charges are non-refundable. No warranty claims will be accepted after this period.

Cancellation Policy
While we generally do not encourage cancellations, we understand that exceptions may arise. If you need to cancel your order, please email us within 24 hours of placing it. A 10% cancellation fee will apply to cover administrative costs.

Please note that repeated cancellations may result in a ban from future purchases.

Fabric Care

Applies to all fabric bases except Bonded fabric and PVC-coated fabrics.

• Fabric may be folded for storage.
• Gentle machine wash or hand wash with mild detergent.
• Hang dry.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron on the either side using low to medium heat.
• Do not dry clean.

Bonded Repel/Twill

• Fabric may be folded for storage.
• Hand wash with mild detergent.
• Do not machine wash to help preserve the bonded fabric construction.
• Hang dry.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron on the right side using low to medium heat.
• Do not dry clean.

Vinyl

• Store rolled whenever possible to help prevent permanent creases.
• Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.
• Do not machine wash.
• Do not hand wash or soak.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight and high heat.

Stabilizer Care

Sew-In Stabilizers (1.5mm Ultra-firm, 2.0mm and 4.0mm tri-coated foam)

• Suitable for finished projects that are hand washed or gently machine washed.
• Hang dry.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron on low to medium heat if required.

1.5mm Light-padded foam and all Self-Adhesive Stabilizers (1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm)

• Suitable for finished projects that are hand washed only.
• Do not machine wash.
• Hang dry.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat to help preserve the adhesive bond.
